Sadly yet another nail in the coffin. 3-0 defeat and Sherwood to understand he's bitten off way more than he can chew

Have you seen Newcastle recently? They're hardly flying, according to their fans a fluke win against Hull, they're dragging their sorry corpse over the line in the knowledge that they've probably just got enough points to stay up. The season can't end soon enough for them. They've got a temp manager whose side play crap football, don't know where the goal is and their fans are pretty resigned to it all. Sound familiar?

They have like Stoke a dodgy defence that won't enjoy us running at them as let's hope Sherwood doesn't fuck up, makes sure we have a solid midfield and gets us using the ball quickly without having to hoof it. Get us playing and the points are there to bring home.

Surefire win for Newcastle in other words....

This was inevitable, and who can hold it against them? A lot of Villa fans gloated on that day and it always comes back to bite you on the arse.

I don't blame them for laughing at us, but they do seem very precious about it.

I think all teams will be out to funeral us. We are a big name that your average neutral would like to see drop.

Revenge. I can understand that, because they played all 38 games against us.

They'll probably be in full voice then...like they were at their place last season...only time we knew they were there was when they scored in the 94th minute.

They'll be so up for it, and will love it, LOVE IT, if they beat us and hammer one nail in the coffin. So I think we can safely go and put a bet on a Villa win now.

Id like to see Sherwood get all di Canio and do a sliding knee celebration in his best suit in front of the bestest fans in the world .

They didn't get it then, and they don't get it now. All that Geordie Nation, bestest fans, everyone's second favourite club stuff had pissed everyone else off. Every other club would have behaved exactly the same; we were just the lucky ones that could do it.

A bit like Smethwick and Bradford at the moment...they just assume that everybody thinks they're great and the only "proper" fans in the world. Because.....?

Twats!
