Pretty sure Ron Wylie was in charge for a game or two in 86'87.

I think we were waiting for Billy McNeil - we needn't have bothered.

One game. One name and it tends to jog peoples memory. Hodge.

I think Deehan and Gray oversaw two 0-0's, that Fulham one and a home game against Everton when a fan ran onto the pitch, or something?
Wasn't the Everton game the night of the protest march from the Church to the Trinity with some sarky, smarmy remarks from Walter Smith afterwards?

Merse hit the bar with about the only decent shot all night?

Could have been...we need Deanos Mullet on this one. GT came in shortly after and Merse scored on his first game, 1-1 against Chelsea. I don't remember hearing Merson ever give his tuppence on Graham Taylor, which is surprising with the mouth on him.

Didn't SGT give Merson his England debut? I think he might also have given Keown his England debut in the same game.
