There's various good and bad draws on paper
But if we can just avoid Liverpool, arsenal and Man U that would be splendid

I we get a first Quarter-Final home draw since 1960 and avoid Manure, Liverpool and Arsenal then I'll be happy.

I think the max manu give is 8000 and Arsenal 6000.
west ham took 10k there a few years back I think. All kinds of creatures crawling out from underneath their stones to go to it, by a few accounts.

So which is more likely, a fourth consecutive home draw in this season's FA Cup ‪or a tenth consecutive sixth round away fixture? (Nicked from Joe_c)

We were at home in 2006, but lost the 5th round replay. Shoddy stats!

Nah, it was the 5th Round when we lost to Man City after a replay. Just checked online. The only thing I can remember about the home game is Micah Richards scoring from a corner right at the end.

I don't think you can really take much satisfaction from being drawn at home in the 2011 Quarter-Finals given that we would've had to have beaten one of the best sides in Europe just to get there, and our manager had given up before kick-off.

Edit: hang on just realised I'm on about a different Man City tie.

I meant if we'd won the replay we'd have been at home to West Ham in the QF.

As long as we're at home, I don't fear anybody, in fact I would prefer Arsenal, Liverpool or The Plastics now rather than at Wembley.
A win against injury hit Stoke at the weekend, a point at Newcastle away followed by a win against the Baggies will see a Villa Park like we haven't seen in ages. The place will be rocking. A perfect time for an FA Cup quarter final against whoever we get.

Bring it on!

We want to avoid numbers 1, 2 and 8 (unless Preston win). Numbers 5,6 and 7 would be great.

Number 4 is West Brom.

I'm just over the moon to be in the hat for the FA Cup quarter final draw, considering the season we've had for the most part. Also feels like ages since we had an FA Cup run (although it hasn't actually been that long), the game that a couple of people above have mentioned that sticks in the memory from the last run was the 4-2 away win at Reading, when John Carew came on at HT to score a hat-trick, pandemonium in the away end. Then we got done by the Chelsea rentboys and the ref at Wembley in the Semi-Final, some joke decisions that day.
