People seem to only remember rabble rousing Sherwood and not that he was a pale shadow of that bloke in his last few weeks here.In fact, he was pretty much flattened from Leicester onwards. What do people think would have happened for him to turn back into the bloke that took us to Wembley, and stop being the one that he started to turn into after Southampton.

We've always been a manager career killer. SGT aside, not a single Villa manager had gone on to bigger and better things after managing the Villa.

Seems an eternity ago but it really is utterly remarkable to consider the high of that semi final to the lows we are all feeling now.

These days there are that many in the North West of England!
