I was the first to see it coming.

I kept it to myself though, as the priests said it was a mortal sin and I would be damned for all eternity.

As far as the appointment of TS is concerned, I was not best pleased but we should remember that we thought we were close to being sold and that such a state of flux would deter most sane candidates.

I invented comedy.

I took a trip to Greece in early 14th century where on the beach some lads were using the word Komoidia while laughing uncontrollably. I decided this was a word I wanted to use myself and brought it back to England. The Brummie accent didn't lend itself to saying Komoidia, so I just changed it comedy. True story.

Who was the visionary on here who said he would last until November?

I take no pleasure in being right.
But you need to let everyone know  ;)
Anyway hundreds of us all knew it would end this way, I think I was amongst the first to state it.

Why the need to quote out of context unless your after some cheap point scoring.

I never said I was first to say it.  I couldn't give a fuck who was.  It was an honest statement that it was disappointing thatmy opinion, along with that of good number of people on here had been proven right.

I guess the sarcasm in "There were a few of us that said in deep shit by October or November." was lost as of course there were loads of us. It was an absolutely ridiculous appointment and everyone outside of the media circus of sycophants and arse lickers knew it.

I was the last to see it coming. In fact when it was announced it was like being hit in the face by a jumbo jet.

Actually I'm delighted the board has balls and did it now - I honestly thought Tim would linger until the season of good will for him, wasn't.

When my wife was heavily pregnant with our second child she went into labour and I rushed her to the QE II at Welwyn Garden City. A boy child came forth into the world but he looked a right mutt. A young woman from Borehamwood was in the next bed to the present Mrs Green and while Mrs Sherwood was asleep, my wife and I decided to switch babies for her really nice, big, handsome, clever, funny one and they got the runt. My wife commented that I would regret it if the mutt grew up and became Aston Villa manager. No way says I he would be crap and get sacked after a handful of games, just like that joke McNeill we have at the moment.

True story. Every word. Bibles honour.
