However, he has not been helped by the lack of football experience or leadership at the top. Fox impressed as Arsenal’s chief commercial officer, agreeing the £170million kit deal with Puma in 2013, but his area of expertise was not on-field matters.
Fox raided his old club for Almstad, which appeared to go against Sherwood’s wishes, and there has been no explanation over the club’s bold transfer policy.

I thought we'd all sorted that out now, football people on the board which a few were high fiving about, maybe not....

Really wish the media would stop refering to Sherwood as "the former Tottenham manager"...
....and start refering to him as "the former Villa manager" !

“I am telling the players it’s a must-win because I think we need to win a game sooner or later,” said Sherwood. “Forget Wembley last season, this is a cup final.

I think there is enough there to suggest he really is the clueless twunt many of us feared.

Well they have experience working in football which is a step up from 2010-2014 period where we had a credit card marketing manager recruiting or attempting to recruit managers.

Yeah I know I think it's just the way some were talking about Fox they actually thought he was the chief Ex at Arsenal when he was doing a completely different role and nothing involving the playing squad.

In my eyes Fox has a lot to prove yet that he's capable of doing this job to any degree of success.

According to our much loved friends on TBAR there was mutiny at Bodymoor Heath earlier this week. Players refusing to carry out Sherwood's
methods to the letter in training. Strong words were exchanged it appears.

Like the wedding cake its all going to end in tiers!

Maybe their interpretation of "expressing" themselves is slightly different to sherwood's?

We had to beg Sherwood allegedly. How worrying is that

Not in the slightest bit worrying as it's yet another thing you've invented.

''and if I can take what I've taken over the last few months and still be happy, that tells you a lot''

What has he taken over the last few months? Criticism for terrible results? That's a given, that's the job he is in, or is he referring to something behind the scenes?
i can not see how undermining the manager can help matters, but no one can explain his idiotic team decisions

I can, particularly if his transfer targets were based mainly on spurs rejects.

Didn't he stay stil be here, not still be happy? I could be wrong, the video of it is still online so I'm sure someone can check if Its necessary to find a further stick to beat him with.

As for what he has taken, I would think its the same as we have all taken. Just because he has more control over it won't actually make it feel any less shit.
