If we win on Saturday , I bet Sherwood makes the victory all about him and not the players.

One thing is for sure, if we lose you will make it all about him and not the players, so why not?
[/quote

Sherwood has said he will take the pressure off the team ,fall on his sword .. yadah yadah yadah. All I have seen is a chirpy , cocky Tim engaging with the press in his pre-match interview , followed by a face like thunder post match , with veiled snide digs at the team or board.

Well I thought he may have been dispensed with today but nothing has transpired by the looks of it. Which means he will be with us on Saturday and no doubt looking forward to the reception he will get.
Any comment he now makes will be treated with derision l am afraid.

I fully expected him to be history today, even though I knew he wouldn't be, if you see what I mean.

I know what you mean. I too thought he'd be gone whilst knowing full well he wouldn't be.

It does look like he'll be here still at the weekend. I hope we get the win we need and I hope he ends up turning it round. Whether he will is another matter.

Surprising we haven't heard a peep from the club, with all the other stuff in the media, the trust statement etc.

Not even a meaningless "false narrative" style platitude from Dr Fox.

Are you really surprised? The club is totally useless at any form of PR.

Well I suppose if Nigel Pearson could do it at Leicester from a seemingly impossible position its just possible, but highly unlikely, that Sherwood could do the same.

I think it is best if they pay up his contract and get a professional in.

That reminds me of a joke*

What's the difference between a duck? One of its legs are both the same.

(*disclaimer. I didn't say it was funny and it isn't mine)

Strangely I thought today he would go too. With the deafening silence from the club I thought he was done by fight on

I am not aware of a peep coming out of the club to the Trust.

He has gone against Lerner and the club by airing his grievences in public his position is untenable i would imagine the hold up is getting in a replacement.

I think their silence says a lot. I reckon he will be gone by this time next week.

Didn't a quote from the General appear in the press a week or so ago?
Regardless I hope the silence means that there is something going on.

I wish sherwood was some other teams manager as then it would be funny and cringe all his comments ! however they are hurtful , embarrassing to club and players and just aggravating the followers of our great club.
It's his behaviour both managing the club, players , situation which is causing the personal insults as he's a decent enough footballing guy, as we're previous managers but he's digging in now and that press conference on Friday is going to be very interesting.
