Ahem.  4 on the bounce.  He's lot his touch mind, he could only manage 2nd last year to PSV where they finished a good way off in the end behind a PSV team that just blew teams away with Depay and Luuk de Jong scoring 42 goals between them in the 34 game season. PSV scored 92 goals in 42 matches and were never displaced from top of the pile after they went top in week 2.

I don't count the first on account of Young being off the pitch at the time.

If you look at the respective squads of Ajax and PSV in those 5 seasons I'd say it's a massive achievement to have got the 4 he did, PSV have consistently had the best squad in that league for about a decade.

We are not in a state to take risks with the position we find ourselves in the league, therefore we have to go for a manager with knowledge of the PL, hence the only options are Moyes or Rogers in my opinion.
Once we achieve some stability then we might be able to take more risks with our managerial appointments.

Appointing Sherwood when we did was probably a bigger risk than appointing someone from abroad in October.

I agree it's been a huge (over)achievement, which is partly why I'd be very pleased indeed if we even approached him.

Sides play decent football, but it's all on a solid foundation of well organised hard work.

And whilst he can't quite match Keane and Bielsa for the mad eye 1000 yard stare, he's probably in the top 10.

No more fucking Scottish managers! There's two reasons Scottish football is fucked - shit players and shit managers.

I would take de Boer with a remit to rebuild the squad, even if it meant relegation to come back stronger. I am fed up with 'fire fighting' to stay in the PL.

I always felt if we were relegated the majority of the squad would leave. If we were relegated this season, I can't see many of them being massively in demand

Yep, I honestly cannot think of one decent Scottish manager ever.

A Moyes appointment, to me, would have a "right man, right time' feel to it.

Me either Chris. There was a bloke at Liverpool and maybe be one at Man United. I dunno.

I thought Everton had a very good one too, but perhaps I was mistaken.

Moronic comments aside, I agree; Moyes would be right for us and we'd right for him.
