Part of me thinks just sack him now and get Rodgers in. Would he come though, and if not who else is there if it's not him?
There's a touch of desperation about Sherwood at the moment and he looks like a dead man walking. We need a lift, badly.

He got 5 wins and a draw out of 14 games.
Who did we beat in the PL ? WBA , Spurs, Sunderland, Everton and West Ham.
But then we lost to the likes of burnley , Stoke , Newcastle and only drew at home to qpr .
The fa cup papered over the cracks that never left

Few things say "I'm talking shite" more than that cliched papering over the cracks nonsense, particularly when it's preceded by the utterly risible stupidity that somehow, winning away at Spurs when it matters is less important than losing a nothing match a week before the cup final.
Lol at the insults. I was at WHL it was by far the highlight of Sherberts reign in the EPL. For the record a confidence boosting win vs Burnley may have helped on May 30th. Equally the display at St Mary's was pathetic a shambles from start to finish and a clear sign of how shit things were/are.

We played very well for two months under him.

As much as he looks clueless now I'm disappointed that is being airbrushed off as a fluke period.

We were outstanding obviously v Liverpool but we had two good games v WBA in a high pressure situation, we won very well at Sunderland, we won for the first time in ages at White Hart Lane in another excellent display and were very good at home to Everton aswell, a team who've been taking the mick at VP in recent years.

Now the more I look at it the battering we got out of the blue at Southampton seems to have fcuked the mindset of him and the team as the following week we were very poor at home to Burnley. Most thought we were just saving ourseleves for the cup final...the first five minutes of that showed otherwise.

It's disappointing but there were some promising aspects in his reign early on...he at least got us on the front foot playing with tempo and quality. Shame it couldn't last.

Let's look at the wins that kept us up .
WBA - thanks to Foster really for a moment of madness
Spurs - a good win this. Rode our luck at times but deserved win.
Everton - again a good solid win this one.
West Ham - scrappy win no complaints.
Sunderland - truly mental first half against a woeful side in chaos under Poyet. Still I enjoyed the day indeed.

Sherwood got the results Lambert would not of as he'd lost the DR. Just as Sherwood has now IMHO.

Alternatively, you could look at the defeats this season:

Man Utd - they're Man Utd.
Crystal Palace - better than everyone thought.
Leicester - comeback specialists on a roll.
West Brom - Pulis' sat 11 behind the ball after they scraped a lucky goal.
Liverpool - have quality in Sturridge.
Stoke - solid team who'll do well this season.

See, you can spin anything from any number of individual results. The point is if you add them all up it points to something; i.e., if you're winning a few games then you're doing something right, if you're losing you're doing something wrong.

The Leicester capitualation has messed with the players minds, our displays have been dismal since then and there's no belief we can win games atm. That game will be Sherwood's tombstone game most likely.

At least there was promise in the August games although I was getting a little worried when we couldn't beat Sunderland at home.

I think the pairing of Richards and Lescott has been a massive let down.
On paper I thought them two would be as solid as a brick outhouse.
It hasn't worked at all. I feel for sherwood on that one .

On paper Richards has never had a long-run at centre-back anywhere, and Lescott has declined to the stage where he was flogged to us by West Brom. It was certainly worth trying, but it was definitely a risk.

Richards has been fine, Clark was starting to make a few errors but Lescott has been awful, you can see why Pulis was playing him left back.

Think it's good Okore will be fit after international break although him and Richards might be a bit too similar but I'd rather have him in there than Lescott.

I was talking to an Albion season ticket holder the other day. Along with saying how boring they are to watch, he also said they're glad to be rid of Lescott as he's past it now and making too many mistakes.

Regarding Sherwood, he just seems to have fallen apart. He didn't look the incapable manager he had been portrayed to be, with maybe the exception of the last 2 or 3 games. There's no need to distort what happened last season to make it fit a biased opinion when what's happening at the moment show clearly shows that he's no longer up to the task.

Look, credit where credit is due. He came in, turned around the Leicester match at half time and gave us a lift. For spells we looked good and the mood was so much better. TC, Benteke and Delph were playing some good stuff. We stayed up after we were on a run to near certain relegation.

It's now another season, the play is poor, we're shot of confidence, belief and the boss is floundering with formations, players and has openly admitted he doesn't know what to do. If anything that's a cue for Fox to say thank you and farewell.

So why rip last season to shreds? Also why rip Wilkins to shreds when really you haven't got a Fucking clue silhillvilla?

Is that why he got their player of the year?

He has been average at best, but lets be honest, him and Richards are Premiership winners, they must have a bit of talent. I think Richards has been superb

Anyone else notice how much time in the last few games he has spent sat on his arse?

I always think you can deduce a lot from a manager's body language. In his last month or two, Lambert just sat there looking ashen faced and utterly immobilised, like he had passed away and someone was projecting a film of a living Lambert onto his face.

MON also did similar in that pre-season match before he flounced out, sat in the stands in his suit looking like an accountant passed over for promotion.

Sherwood recently has looked the same. Mostly sat on his arse, springing up every now and then to make a serious of surely meaningless, indecipherable hand gestures like he's weaving an invisible blanket or something.
