I wonder if this dissatisfaction has its origins in him not being allowed to sign Adebeyor? To effectively state publicly a vote of no confidence in your incoming players is too serious for him to have done it on a whim. There is obviously more to this than meets the eye. As DW said the media people at VP appear to have been compromised to say the least.

His comments do open another can of worms , Are we now purchasing players by a committee of non footballing execs? Something Lambert alluded to on the BBC last Sunday.

I'm not defending Tactics.I think he is shambolic, but it might explain some of the garbage we have had to watch in recent seasons.

The club had agreed everything, it was Adebayor who went missing at the last minute.

When Sherwood was out of work he used to write a Saturday column in the I in which he always banged on about lower league British players and how they were just as good as some of the imports if only they were given the chance.

Then he comes in and we sign mostly foreign based players so yeah I don't think they were his targets apart from Gestede, Adama Traore and Tiago Llori.

largely irrelevant though; he's not shown enough to suggest he can/could effectively manage his choice of player, or not.

He has shown no evidence that he knows what he is doing in any aspect of managing a PL team. The results last season seem more by luck than judgement.

How come we got out of the bottom three if it was so shocking?

Including the ones we beat, presumably.

He got 5 wins and a draw out of 14 games.
Who did we beat in the PL ? WBA , Spurs, Sunderland, Everton and West Ham.
But then we lost to the likes of burnley , Stoke , Newcastle and only drew at home to qpr .
The fa cup papered over the cracks that never left

Sherwood has two games to prove his worth or else we're after Rodgers.

Seeing as we'll get smacked by Chelsea I imagine the board want results against Swans, Saints and Spurs. Don't see it happening with the way we've approached our last few games.

I'd be fine with Rodgers.. and a few others. At least the board sees what we see and has displayed some form of patience. The pressure is on Tim now. Time to give up on the chatter and start getting results.

Is it time for another 'who will be the next boss' yet?

Rodgers, Hughes, Redcrapp, Pearson, Bielsa? Roll up, roll up.

Few things say "I'm talking shite" more than that cliched papering over the cracks nonsense, particularly when it's preceded by the utterly risible stupidity that somehow, winning away at Spurs when it matters is less important than losing a nothing match a week before the cup final.
