Appointing Ray wilkins was bizarre too.

You keep saying this, but why?
Because I don't like him involved with aston villa

But just because you don't like him doesn't make him a bizarre appointment.

He's been a flop elsewhere though - fulham, Jordan , he has a drink issue too.

Other good ones include
Other Wisdom
Dirt Somehow
or my favourite
Dire Show Tom

If you go for Timothy Sherwood you can have
Tim Do Theory Show
Shite Doom Worthy
Howdy Tom, shite or (what)

If you use his full name Timothy Alan Sherwood you can have
Lose a third anyway Tom
Oh drat and why I lose Tom?

You conveniently forgot his spell at Chelsea and his 'alleged' drink problem is something you keep bringing up without any justification at all.

He went public with his alcohol problems but I believe he has received treatment and is said to be sober now. It's pretty small minded to make snide digs about it in my opinion.

I wasn't aware of that to be honest, but yes, the snide digs are a bit pathetic.

Good luck to him, for the record he was sacked by Chelsea .
And to date I've seen nothing positive he's brought to aston villa whatsoever .

I might be wrong, but didn't he get chopped with Ancelotti?

For the record, he was coach when they won the double.

It's bang out of order if you ask me. If he's turned a corner fair play to him. It takes courage and a hell of a lot of determination to admit to having a problem in the first place. He's more than likely had to apologise to family and friends on the way. Wilkins is a bigger man for recovering (probably forever recovering) that than someone who would have a pop at him for being an alcoholic.

I didn't say I rated him, I'm saying he's not a bizarre appointment and besides, I'm not petty enough to throw his past troubles into an argument to prove a point.
