He went public with his alcohol problems but I believe he has received treatment and is said to be sober now. It's pretty small minded to make snide digs about it in my opinion.
Good luck to him, for the record he was sacked by Chelsea .And to date I've seen nothing positive he's brought to aston villa whatsoever .

It takes courage and a hell of a lot of determination to admit to having a problem in the first place. He's more than likely had to apologise to family and friends on the way. Wilkins is a bigger man for recovering (probably forever recovering) that than someone who would have a pop at him for being an alcoholic.
