Pearson would be better for us. He can appease those fans who like Sherwood for his chat. Pearson would save Sunderland . Rodgers is an alternative with players we have but while there are decent managers who are available it could be good time to act. Four to five more games sees a third of the season league wise played. We all

If Pearson is the answer, I hope the question is who's the biggest twat you've seen give a PL press conference in the last 12 months.

The only way you could make Pearson more dislikeable is if he espoused Pulisball.

but an effective manager doesn't have to be likeable; they have to be effective. Leicester's trajectory over 2015 as a whole ( i.e. the back end of last season and the start of this one) is an upward curve, thanks in no small part to Nigel. Is he a cnut? yes. Is he an effective cnut ? Most certainly.

Like somebody mentioned earlier, pay the going amount for the right manager and it's so much cheaper in the long run. It's like buying a knock-off iPhone - half the price but most of the features don't work properly.

Other smartphones are available for this similie, by the way.

I wasn't suggesting his c***ery disqualified him as manager based on his abilities, just that that's the only sort of question I'd want to hear someone associated with B6 ask about him.

I actually think it only worked for Leicester in the end because that was very much "his squad" that had largely been together for a few years. They'd have run through brick walls for him.

I think if you parachuted him into our situation his passive aggressive approach to people and meat and potatoes approach to football would not be a happy experience for anyone, least of all us fans.

You might well ask Pearson what he was doing during the first 25 games of last season when they were continually bottom of the table. He did well at the end, just like Sherwood, so both are unproven over a longer period

Yes because Pearson is a highly qualified Premiership Manager, just the type to get us out of this this shit and lead us to the top six.

Momentum does not a good manager make. Both Tiny Penis and that nutter Pearson are not, and never will be, anything other than meat and potatoes British football managers who shunt any creativity they inherit to the margins. Once the momentum of 'everyone's writing us off, boys' fades, you're left with surly press conferences, bore draws and FA Cup embarrassments.

After being lumbered with a manager whose chief tactic is conservation of momentum in Sherwood, why would we covet another in Nigel Pearson? No, no, and a billion times no.

I think Pearson has been reasonably successful before the last 15 games of last season too, thinking of previous seasons at Leicester, plus I think he did ok at the boggies. But, as has been stated, I think he needs to have the time to get his own type of player in to fit the way he wants to play. Vardy epitomises that, and I don't think we have that type of player

please don't think I am an advocate of Pearson or would want him anywhere near the club - I don't. Semi tangentially I just find it very irksome that Leicester's record over the last 10 months under a meat and two veg manager and a slightly more exotic one who either operated or operate with no greater resources than ours, is infinitely superior.

It is frustrating, made more so by recognising just how fucked Leicester were and how they started playing well when they assumed Pearson was getting sacked.

Southampton's success is the one that gets me. Weren't they relegated to league one the season O'Neill left us? It feels like we are a million miles behind them now.

Southampton's re-emergence is one thing that should give us the confidence not to think relegation is a disaster we couldn't recover from. However, the words Preston, North and End loom large in the negative column.

Not just Preston either as how often do the likes of Leeds and Sheffield Weds ever look like coming back up ?
