couldn't agree more Brian; I'm certainly not advocating his sacking now, but irrespective of the reasons, if we are where we are now on boxing Day, I think I would feel differently
My guess is that those who voted to get rid would drop very quickly if he started showing some tactical aptitude and was quicker to hold his hands up when it's the way he's set the side up that was wrong. Even in his comments on the OS this morning, he still takes no share of the fault. My attitude changed very quickly on Saturday because he basically set us up as Lambert would have done and never did anything to correct the mistake despite countless opportunities.
The main reasons for the more hysterical elements on here wanting to get rid so soon seem to be that he's a 'cockney chancer' and more importantly that he's tactically suspect. The first is hardly worth addressing except to say surely it's irrelevant (and actually would be illegal if he were from a different country not a different city).
