I'd have hoped we would have at least inserted a clause in his contract so that we wouldn't have to pay up his entire contract should we find ourselves staring relegation in the face, but that kind of forward planning is probably too much to ask for.I definitely don't think he'll walk out, as a few people suggested he might if the crowd turned on him. We're his last chance saloon, quit now and he'll never get another job in management, and miss out on a few million quid.
The only thing that's more embarrassing than our teams shite displays are our managers toe-curling interviews. He really does sound like he's making it up as he goes along. The man is an out and out liar.
Absolute grim reading on here tonight. A complete and utter over exaggeration. Its almost as if no one on here actually knew about our form, injuries, league position and that we were playing Liverpool at Anfield this weekend.
The game wasn't great...in fact, we were shit and the tactics were wrong, but the game plan went completely tits up as soon as we conceded after 70 seconds. TS set the team up to frustrate Liverpool rather than attack, but like ourselves, TS didn't expect his players to get off to such a crap start. The main complaint should be that he had 89 minutes to change things but we didn't start showing anything until 69 minutes later.

When Martin Laursen in his post match analysis is looking visibly angry and stops just short of calling Sherwood a useless wanker whilst pulling the tactics apart and saying he doesn't understand how Sherwood thought that set up would work as there's more to playing defensively than parking 10 men on the edge of the penalty area I'll take that as pretty robust backing for my point of view and the quicker we get a manager with a brain in place the better off we'll be.
The worry is he doesn't have a clue what his best team is and keeps tinkering meaning there is not momentum. I hate the way Villa have predominantly played with one lead striker hoping the midfield will get in a support. When was the last time we hammered a team and created endless chances? I like a striking partnership which we don't seem to have had for years.
This time next year rodney[/quoteive also posted this lolits always jam tomorrow, when gana is back, when grealish is back, if nzog could recapture his form from 5 years ago, when traore if fit, when okore comes back yada yada yadawe have been circling the plughole for 5 seasons and this season i dont think we will find the plug
It is not October and there is widespread clamour for the manager to be sacked.
