So the plan was, let's get lots of their players booked in the first half, try and bore them to death and second half we'll bring on Grealish to take the piss.

Honestly, more than the last two weekends, I've lost any faith in Sherwood. I think Paulie got in there before me and called it as it is; he's a chancer. Sadly for Sherwood, we've far more experience with chancers, based on his predictors, going right back to MON.

It's shit, it's painful, we may even need to be relegated but fuck, I'm tired of this shit. We deserve so much better.

What exactly are you so pissed off about Rudy? Surely you can't be pissed off by the second half performance...we were shite first half (whether that was intentional due to the "direct" tactics or not) but TS brought on our best player (who was obviously intentionally rested with the different lineup and formation in mind) and we beat the team that we were up against that just so happened to be the dirty scum local rivals down the road.

Ask yourself why would TS clearly use a completely different formation, tactics and style of play that we've never used before and the players looked completely lost in whilst also keeping our strongest midfielder and 2 creative players on the bench? Personally I was surprised he made the substitutions at half time as I thought he'd bring on Jack, Gil and Sanchez on the hour to secure the win.

I'm not saying it was a good tactic...it was stupid, mental and I hope he never tries it again.

You've answered most of your question for me.

My biggest complaint is even when we went one up, you'd thereafter struggle to see who were the PL team. There were two shite teams out there. We were one of them.

First half was a game between a shit side, and a side playing shit. Second half, the gulf was obvious even though we only really clicked for about 15/20 mins.

No, we took our chance, they missed theirs. Two crap teams.

He played it safe the first half. Solid, dull, but  safe. Second half we spread our wings, and class told.

We did enough to avoid embarrassment in a potential banana skin and no-win  situation.

We were miles better than them the second half, it wasn't even close.

May be I got caught up in the atmosphere at the back of the Holte, but from where I was standing we dominated and battered them second half...apart from that one missed chance, we were more than comfortable and could have (and should have) scored a few more. I've got the game recorded so I guess I'll see if we were as bad as you say we were.

Anyways, cheer up for fucks sake! ;)

Sure but our goal apart, they had the better chance.

For the second consecutive game it's pointless going through our player's ratings. It all all so fundamentally wrong and anybody that takes much joy from that second half against such a pathetic pub team, needs their head looking at. Playing them is always a no-win situation, tonight more than ever.

"You can only beat what is put in front of you"

Personally I couldn't give a toss that Blose are a bit shit or if they managed a couple of shots on target...we beat them fair and square. I'd almost forgot what it likes to win a game...it feels great! May be you should try enjoying some of it too! Jump in...its free!!! :)

Ha! As shit teams go, and we've played a few since the DOL years, they really were shit.

On a positive note, even if we get relegated, I'm certain we'll bounce back immediately, if the Rags are the level of promotional contenders.

If Tim Sherwood is going to prejudice our chances of winning games with bizarre substitutions and team set ups he ought to go back to the tried and tested old school practice of knowing your best team and picking that team or as close as injuries and suspensions allow.

He gives the impression in interviews of being quick witted and sharp. None of that has manifested itself in his actual work, leading me to believe that he is thick in matters relating to the actual nuts and bolts of team management. There have been plenty of very successful managers with the same limitations but they have always stuck to the basics and not tried to play mind games that are beyond them.

Brian. We have just beaten our greatest rivals. Granted it was 1 nil, it should have been 4. I heard Sherwoods interview on WM and loved it. He knows we hate them and was just playing that up a bit.
Rowett and the idiot presenters fell for it.
