He won't be happy in how it was managed today but at the end of the day his job was to keep us up and he did. FA Cup win would be some bonus!

An amazing achievement when you remember we were flat line when he took over. Absolutely brilliant.

We were lying face flat in the water after Hull. For all intents and purposes we were dead. That we are where we are is a bit of a miracle.

Very happy overall but he was out thought by Koeman today. He needs to take that on board.

I don't post often but the feeling of relief to be safe with a match to go is immense!

What Sherwood has achieved is astonishing HOWEVER he has been out thought a couple of times and I hope he learns from today that we have a long way to go and that we do need to strengthen to compete.

He deserves backing now and some new silverware wouldn't go amiss!!

Well done Tim. I didn't think we would be safe as I drove home in stunned silence from Hull, but you've turned us around. Big job in the summer.

I don't know how you can come to that conclusion given how we capitulated at the back in 3 minutes. It had nothing to do with tactics

Not true, we were very open as usual and our full-backs were isolated and targeted. That's the thing about being open - it's tudo ou nada, as TSOV put it, and sometimes it's really nada. It happens, and I'm okay with it.

We played too higher line, got pressed wide and coupled with the midfield not being there and the back being absolutely rotten created a perfect storm.

We played the same way as we have the past few weeks. What happened today was the worst defending we've seen in a long time. It doesn't mean Koeman outwitted Sherwood. His players took complete advantage of two players not being able to handle one for the first goal and then we simply fell apart. Yes playing open leaves us more exposed than playing the Chelsea way, but today it just went really wrong and very quickly.

We set out the same, as Koeman expected, and he doubled-up on our full-backs very effectively. He got the better of Tim today, but the defeat was a hammering because of the awful defending. I still think we'd have lost that without the individual errors. It happens - Tim's got a lot right recently, but Koeman definitely bested him on this occasion.
