Well done Timmy. Mission accomplished. Convinced we'd have gone down if Lambert had stayed any longer.

Convinced!!! - it was an absolute cert, I don't think we would even have lasted this long.

After engineering this and if he delivers the Cup, he will be a legend.

Cheers Mr Sherwood for making Saturdays that little bit more fun ( apart from today ).

Good luck for next season and moulding your own team in the next 2-3 seasons.

Thank you thank you Tim Sherwood. Win the cup now and you will be a true Aston Villa legend in my eyes.

A managerial change in the nick of time.  Now give him the tools to fix what needs fixing and make sure that this is the last time in a long while that we find ourselves in this situation.

Great job by Tim so far. A minor miracle all things considered. Well done.

It's pretty extraordinary, all told. We were absolutely, 100% fucked forever when he came in - now, safe and looking forward to a cup final. Safe for the big influx of TV money next season as well, which is really important. All things considered, unless Tim actually gets us relegated some point down the line he's performed a once-in-a-decade sort of service to the club. What a rescue act.

He doesn't draw many does he?

I think next season, we'll win 19 and lose 19.  57 points, that'll do.
