I would prefer a gillette day.   This charity beard I have grown makes me look older than HDE.
Which reminds me. I'm due a visit from my Mach 3 today. Looking a right scruffy git. I don't want to end up with the full Mellberg/Baker.

He really got it today. He may say it's all heart and desire but his tactics were absolutely fine today. That said, it's amazing how his confidence rubs off on the players. You can have all the tactics or all the man-management in the world, but if it's all you have you won't get far. Well done Tim.

I admit, this got me a little bit:

Tim Sherwood, nice tight tie on him under his blazer, is about to chat to the media. He is loving this.

"We robbed them," he says with a smile when told Mario Balotelli's goal was onside.

New John Gregory in how he's lifted the club's self esteem with his comments and frontfoot football.

Now the FA cup final performance was the beginning of the end for JG here really but I believe we'll do this club justice on the day even if we don't win.

I just cannot in a million years see Sherwood approaching the final in the way JG did against Chelsea. The way we played then was monumentally disappointing. To a lesser extent, so was the LC Final against Utd. Too much fear and respect shown.

I think we'll come out the traps and really have a go against Arsenal. If we do that and lose, so be it. But with Benteke in this form, I think we've got every chance of winning the trophy.

I agree, I think we will have a go and not just turn up for the occasion like we did in 2000.

I hope the tactics Tim moniker that the people who did not want him at Spurs will be dispelled soon. Second half against QPR and Swansea at home I think he set up wrong, but overall he has had a clear game plan for every game, with a different tactical focus. The way he clearly out thought Rodgers with the 2 withdrawn 10's in Grealish and N'Zogbia and using Benteke from the left drifting in completely negating the before match Skrtel crap was excellent.

He's not going to get everything right. The better ones just get it wrong a lot less times than the rest. But it's why even Mourinho lost to Bradford, or Pellegrini got dumped out by Boro. Or in the past Ferguson has seen his sides shocked in games, or Wenger for that matter.

Liverpool changed their formation three times today. They failed to make Given work at all. Stay up, let's see what he does in the market.

If we win the FA Cup I'm going to name my next baby Timothy.  And we're expecting a girl.
