I was all for sherwood being appointed before Lambert was sacked. He's said a few daft things. But there is no doubt whatsoever in my mind we would have been relegated if lambert had stayed. He hasn't just bought in manager bounce. He's bought in some tactical know how and basically got these players believing in themselves and each other. And that it's okay to score a goal. Look at that attacking line up today. That told me he was saying 'we are going to win this, we're your problem.' Imagine today under lambert. Dour defensive crap designed to achieve a 0-0. We've still got a hell of a battle but he's given us a chance.
