Considering the negativity around TS's tactics before he joined, it would be difficult to fault him thus far. I like that his substitutions always seem to make a lot of sense too. Taking Clark off (he's a yellow card away from a 2-game ban) and seeing whether Sanchez is capable of playing there in an emergency, Weimann for Zog who's getting fitter and then giving a 16-year old a chance in those circumstances. That should send a really strong message to the lad, to everyone else in the youth set-up and anyone who might be considering which club their kid should play for.

Considering the state we were in he's done a hell of a job in a short space of time.

Well I really hope he's here for a very long time to come
So do I, as that will mean that we would have had no cause to sack him.

I'm intrigued with you thinking he'll be sacked at some point next season how bad next season will actually be. Given Lambert limped on until the middle of February, we must be talking like Sherwood will only pick up 10 points by xmas which on the evidence so far looks remote.

The way we've played so far means we'll pick up a decent number of wins during a season not to worry about any relegation battle imo. It won't always work but we should be far more comfortable than under Lambert.

If he is gonna fall, then he's doing his best to set up a monumental one. Long may it continue. Go get 'em, Tim!

I believe Sanchez has played CH before, but agreed it's good to see if he can cover if needs be at this level. He's good in the air anyhow.

There has been more subtlety to TS so far than I'd expected him to bring. Aside from that, the motivational side, which I did expect, has been there for all to see. We don't look like a side who should be worrying. We look like a mid-table-top half side.

I should add love him or hate him his enthusiasm is brilliant and the players look like they are enjoying it too.

Lambert won 6 games out of 28 this season. Only 4 of those against Premier League teams. Sherwood has 4 wins in 6 against top flight opponents already.

True but as refreshing and great as it is the 4 wins are - WBA twice (8th from bottom), Sunderland (5th from bottom) and Leicester (rock bottom).

And? Were beating teams around us something Lambert was incapable of doing.
