Our dog gets the 'Zoomies' if that helps. Basically means he goes mental, running around and barking after he's had his bath. It's quite common amongst canines apparently.
I think he's just doing his best with his limited experience and it doesn't help not having his most trusted Backroom team in place. He's a work in progress manager at the exact time when we needed someone with some experience and nous. Although I'm not blaming him for our current position at all this was a baffling appointment, especially as we apparently didn't speak to anyone else at all according to Fox.Maybe if we were a safe mid table team you'd take a gamble on him but in our position...... Madness.
I watched last nights match of the day and couldnt help compare the inteviews of Sherwood and Swanseas Gary Monk. It struck me Sherwood's a less articulate, less experienced, less likeable and seemingly less capable version of Gary fucking Monk. A truly baffling appointment, again.
To be honest I had forgotten Sherwood played for England.....three times! What I hadn't forgotten is that he also played for Coventry City.
I just want to know why he's telling us his psychological plans for the team. He's said he wants a siege mentality, then he says he's 'ramping up the pressure' on the players, confiding that it's 'reverse psychology' but maybe we need it. I just don't quite know what that means, exactly.

He's said he wants a siege mentality, then he says he's 'ramping up the pressure' on the players, confiding that it's 'reverse psychology' but maybe we need it. I just don't quite know what that means, exactly. It seems he's suggesting that the players haven't realised what trouble they are in, have lacked urgency and have been told everythings ok for too long, so he's trying to get across the reality of it and that they need to step up as players and leaders now and make things happen. Most top sportsmen admit to getting nervous before big games and say it's the pressure and nerves that push them that little further to concentrate and perform, rather than when they are totally comfortable and relaxed.I agree with him.
