Up the Sherwood!!!

I'm happy, I thought it was going to be Warnock or Irvine. Best appointment Lerners ever made and he's made some beauties.

I'm a bit worried but FFS can we give him a chance to put his claret and blue gilet on before we want him out!

Quite. Can we at least give him a chance before we write him off? He might surprise us, and if he doesn't, we were doomed anyway if Lambert stayed.

Lions led by donkeys.
That implies that the players are blameless in our current situation. I disagree.

4 years on and our testicles remain in the unpredictable grip of gorillas. Tony Pulis at Christmas was the decision that needed to be made.
I agree but loads on here didn't. He is already sorting out them baggies, 4-0 today.
Still what's done is done, let's hope he can sort us out.

The bit that says they're glad that HE'S DECIDED to join US! What the fuck?
What else are they supposed to say ????

I don't get this personality bashing of Sherwood. What does it matter if he's a bell end or whatever. If he can motivate and organise the squad to produce results that's all that should matter really.

Oh dear, that is not what we wanted is it children? The AVST meeting should be entertaining especially if we lose to Leicester in the cup.

A depressing appointment, and not just to the end of the season as well.

Very glad this appointment was made without listening to the mob. That was how the last appointment was made!

But not listening to the mob was how the one before that was made.

The inexperience is a slight worry but let's see how it goes.

Short-term it might work but I can't warm to the bloke at all. I'll back him 100% for the remainder of the season.  May God be with us!

That's pretty much what I feel. Because of our specific circumstances, and Sherwood's thoughtless, mindless passion, it might actually work in the immediate future. However, long-term, we've hired yet another manager who is miles behind the curve of modern football. At least Lambert tried to learn - Sherwood appears proud of how little he knows.

Fans need consider at this point in time for else was there at short notice

Wgere we went wrong was not sacking lambert three months or even six months ago when the manager pool was much greater!

I believe he will get more out of these players something we as fans have been demanding

To me it's time the fans united and gave the guy a chance!

With lambert we were down so can he do any worse

Let's give him a chance, there's absolutely no point in writing him off and getting on his back just yet.  I remember loads of us thinking what-the-fuck? when John Gregory got the job and he turned things around sharpish.  90% of us wanted Lambert three years ago so we're not exactly great judges are we.  As has been said a million times already today, it'll be interesting to see who he brings in to work with him.

I can't imagine there would have been a massive queue of illustrious managers willing to work for this shower of underachieving c***s either.

I'm really not sure about this. However, given his youth record, the likes of Grealish, Robinson, Benteke, Westwood, Lowton etc should all benefit. In addition, he's confident, says it how it is and is no doubt well - connected.

It might just work. And it certainly can't get any fucking worse can it? Can it?!
