I'm a bit worried but FFS can we give him a chance to put his claret and blue gilet on before we want him out!

Short-term it might work but I can't warm to the bloke at all. I'll back him 100% for the remainder of the season.  May God be with us!

Obviously  not a popular choice but he's here now, so let's support him.

I feel lower than I did walking out of Wembley in 2000.

Tim Sherwood - what an absolute f***ing twat.

4 years on and our testicles remain in the unpredictable grip of gorillas. Tony Pulis at Christmas was the decision that needed to be made.

I honestly think he'll get this team firing. These players have had it too easy for too long, being protected by a very generous manager. Sherwood ain't that guy, stick it to this bunch and get them performing at an appropriate level.

I don't mind the appointment at all. Best of luck Tim.

Spot on!  I believe that this will be a very good appointment - no experienced manager would  guarantee success, here we have a hungry young manager who will kick a few backsides and if he can get somebody like Adebayor to perform then maybe he can get Gabby and Benteke to perform as well. He won't take any shit from the players. He was also responsible for bringing along the likes of Harry Kane at Spurs - maybe he'll sign him in the summer!!

I'm surprised at the vitriol here, TBH.
Fox has been courting him for several weeks (which maybe explains why Sherwood didn't accept at least one of the other vacancies), and I suppose he has had enough time assess Sherwood.
We don't know what Fox's recruitment skills are like and I think we have to cut him some slack.
As I've said over the last few days, it's all about the coaching staff that comes in.

Well, he got some decent results at Spurs, as has been reported works with young players well and doesn't mince his words. Let's hope our misgivings are unfounded.

Very glad this appointment was made without listening to the mob. That was how the last appointment was made!
