A win would be most helpful in seeing a positive future. It's a winnable fixture. Massive game. Should be a good atmosphere. Reckon we'll come flying out the traps.Let's put it this way. The gate has gone from 23k to 35k plus for a game versus Stoke. Villa fans just needed to feel a pulse to get back to doing what they love, and really feeling passionate about the club again. Up until this appointment we were as good as dead. The pulse was really faint. Surely that counts for something.

I've gone from dread to excitement for our matches. Hopefully the players will feel the same.
Fuck me, the bloke can't do right for doing wrong.Personally, I find it refreshing to hear a bit of straight (football) talking, after all the bullshit and guff we have endured from TSM2 over the last 2.5 years. If it sounds like simple 'coach speak' then so be it.Maybe, just maybe the players will now understand what is expected of them if its put in simpler ways !
The change was desperately needed. He's got my backing.

At the very least, something has changed.Whether it is for the better or the worse, we don't know yet, but something will be different, that much we do know. That alone is cause for hope.

God, yes.Usually when you say "it could hardly be worse", people would suggest that it could actually be much worse, but in our case, it really couldn't.
