The problem with sacking Lambert now is that you won't be able to hire anyone who is anything other than desperate.

As it stands, we are sitting in the bottom 3. I cant see us coming out in the weeks to come.

Just shown a Lambert out sign on Sky Sports.

The new Premier League deal has just been announced. If its all about the money, then Fox should release mumbles about 10pm this evening - knowing a minimum of £70 MILLION is at stake.

If its not about the money then mumbles will be writing 'Cleverly' on the team sheet on Sunday morning.

We sacked Gregory for top 6 finishes and an FA cup final.

No we didn't.

I can't see us winning another match this season.
I wouldn't bet against us not scoring another goal this season.

At other clubs they sack the manager and the assistant takes over.... oh that;s right Villa hasn't got one.

Funny thing - the only time Lerner appears to have listened to the fans was when appointed Lambert......... Oh dear - oops

I know  Mcclaren looks like mourinho now  ;)

Anyone will do, even Sherwood who I think is all mouth and no trousers

Lambert never usually makes HT changes....conceding has shot the little confidence we have. Need Benteke on but can Lambert wind him up to make him effective?

Lambert has to go but I have no faith with the Board to replace him, they wouldn't know where to start.

Lambert couldn't wind up a watch.
Well Lambert did say we didn't need an attacking coach as he was looking after it himself..........

One day we might look back on that and half hysterically.

I think we'd do better with no manager

Just think of all the millions of little coincidences throughout human history that led to this point, where we have an idiot like Lerner in the same place and time as an idiot like Lambert.

I'm also at the point where I wish I could turn back time, forego the optimism of the early Lerner/MON years, take the relegation that would have come probably in that first O'Leary-less season and now at least be supporting a club on the up.  As it is, as bad as things are now, I know that they are going to get worse. Relegation followed by the clueless Lerner imposing a whole new round of austerity when he eventually gets his brain around what relegation means financially.

The whole club is a joke.

I am beginning to think that is a ploy by Lambert to protect his position.

We sacked Gregory for top 6 finishes and an FA cup final.

Whole different beast then was AVFC. Big Ron got the boot eight months after winning a cup. And Paul Lambert is still our boss after 100 mostly dreadful results and performances.
