Gabby off benteke and wieman up front, would be my move . Unlucky to be down by one, but we don't look like we could score in a brothel

Horrific, yet again. We look like 11 blokes picked off the street the day before who only met in the tunnel just before the game.

Maybe we should have made more of the protest.

I am starting to think it is actually too late to achieve anything by getting rid of Lambert.

If they did it tomorrow and had a replacement lined up then that person would have a chance, but you are right much longer then it would be pointless making the change.

Fergie owes us one after the McLeish recommendation, so how about him taking over for a few months?

It really is just soul destroying. I hate watching Villa. Nearly 30 years of support is slowly being drained. Five years of an under whelming, nigh on bore fest has robbed the enthusiasm. There is no hope just resignation from knowing the inevitable.

Two very shit teams separated by a huge slice of luck. Still, it's best league in the world you know.

The commentator ha just come out with
"I'd like to be in the Aston Villa dressing room so I could find out what the attacking concept is, because I can't see, and it appears the players don't know it."

I'm getting fed up of the Danish commentators taking the piss with comments I can't argue with.

every week is the same

isolate the striker

pass sidewards

We're too weak in midfield, Sinclair is offering nothing, Gil is playing too deep, Delph is being a tart, Weimann is a one armed taxi driver with crabs and Gabby is doing his best to keep warm by using the two central defenders as a wind block.

Has Lambert ordered the players that they can only enter the Hull penalty area one at a time? We're playing far too deep. Get Sinclair off and bring on Sanchez, take Andi off and bring on Benteke. It's our only hope to get players forward.

Just think of all the millions of little coincidences throughout human history that led to this point, where we have an idiot like Lerner in the same place and time as an idiot like Lambert.

Fuck the replacement. Just get rid of Lambert. The players could probably do a better job of organising themselves on their own.

It seems only now even the pundits are wondering what are our actual tactics. I can't believe he's not under more pressure

God we are truly awful. Why the hell does Lamberk think that Agbonlanought is a preferable option to Benteke? Surely we're set up for him with Gil and Sinclair on although Gil is too deep for. me.

During that half I counted 8 times when the ball was hit long and every time one of their defenders headed it clear. I didn't even start counting until about 20 minutes in. I think Benteke would have won most of those. Ok, he hasn't been in great form recently but Lambert should use that by firing him up because now we REALLY need someone to step up to the plate. Go on lad, make yourself a hero. But no, this is Lamberk so he'll no doubt mumble some unintelligible drivel and wave him on.
