the tour guide was saying that Abramovich (?) uses it
I'm struggling with that one to be honest.

When I did the tour it was being set up for evening. It was proper 'Downton Abbey' the way they were setting the tables out.
The tour guide said that the VMF is closed to the public on match days as it's where the directors and dignitaries dine.
I can't imagine this or the Abramovich story being made up.
Ah got you know . Sorry I had visions of Mr & Mrs Abramovich in VMF on a Friday night before the game.
Yes on a match day in the directors area if he's at the game. Wonder if he will be there tomorrow with his private army .

Lol, yes, could you imagine Mr & Mrs Abramovich there on the table next to me on Friday :-)
He should be honoured, as I can't afford this sort of thing often :-)
