Would go for:

Guzan

Hutton
2 of Vlaar / Okore /Clarke
Cissokho

Westwood
Sanchez

Gil
Delph
Sinclair

Weimann

Time to "rest" Benteke i'm afraid and give Weimann a chance in the centre

Rest him for this and hopefully he comes back with a bang for the next two matches.

I'm going for a defeat, yes how very daring of me, but I think we'll score 2 into the bargain.

VP's not the chosen one's favourite destination. It sounds daft but I fancy us to sneak it. Lambert's got more lives than a cat.

I just looked at the Chelsea results for the season, thinking that they win, but don't particular batter teams.

We're going to get battered aren't we?

Sit back, keep it tight and break with pace. We can get the win.

Everyone knows how Mourinho loves his stifling, defensive tactics.

They're going to come here and park the bus.

Mind you, they wouldn't need to bring the actual bus to keep us out. They could manage that just bringing the Oyster card.

The only good thing about being shit is that we get a lot of Saturday 3pm kick offs.

Indeed. Am I correct in saying our only Saturday 3pm kick offs have been Arsenal, Man. United, Liverpool and Chelsea.

All of those have been nailed on TV games pretty much over the last 15 years.

Have seen Chelsea a couple of times lately, City and Newcastle. They somehow got four points from these games despite being really poor.

Would take a mind numbing 0-0 draw here. Surely we will have learned tactically from the last day, full backs to hold their positions and our defensive line should not start less than five yards inside our half. Would pick Westwood over Bacuna for the reason that he hold his position better.

Terry has been very poor lately so for that reason only Gabby's declining pace might still be of use. There isn't 90 mins in Gil or Sinclair so we should be looking for Benteke and Weimann to come in and make an impact.

---------------Guzan
Hutton, Vlaar, Clark, Cissokho
----Westwood, Sanchez----
--Gil--, ---Delph, -----Sinclair
----------Gabby-----------

We are going to have limited possession. So i hope Sanchez has been practising his passing after last week. All out attack. We have nothing to lose. But a couple of goals would cheer everyone up ..........

I agree, it does sound daft. Mental in fact, but if there is one pattern we've seen a lot of in Lambert's time it is this:

*lose or fail to win lots of matches*

*get a result utterly out of the blue, in a fixture where you're expected to have no chance - Liverpool, for example*

*get given what is effectively a two month long holiday as you dine out on that one result. In that two months, go back to being utter shit again*
