Who did we play in 96? I can only remember that sole destroying defeat to Liverpool in the semi.
That was a wretched Semi Final. We never turned up.

Disagree entirely. They scored when we were down to ten men, we were the better team from then until the last few minutes when they got one on the break then added another when the game was up. Three-nil was a joke.

Didn't Taylor have an obvious penalty denied?

Boring!

Might as well put West Brom v West Ham on TV as well!

I imagine this suits the WMP given the amount of work their Leicester coleagues had to do that other week.

Quite glad it's been moved, really. Gets me out of a bit of a hole. Conversation with my fiancee the other day....
"What are we doing for Valentine's Day?"
*stares at floor, mumbles "Leicester in The Cup"*
"Alright then, but you'll have to make it up to me on our anniversary [of when we met]."
*stares at floor, checks fixtures, mumbles "Quarter finals"*

This is a real opportunity to have a good crack at the cup.

I'd say our game is probably 7th most likely to be televised. Derby/Reading being 8th.

Worst possible kick off time for those who play Sunday mornings.  Bloody Lineker and his set of BBC bastards.

Does seem odd that they've picked our game, not the most exciting tie is it?

I'm guessing the BBC - Lineker connection is the reason.
