You'd think Blackburn-Stoke would probably be on before ours aswell.
Not even Blackburn fans can be bothered with watching their cup exploits. 5900 gate against Swansea

Very true but TV would see that as a potential shock tie so would be surprised if it isn't on.

Tricky tie for us but it could've been worse, we could of easily lost 5 or 6 nil to this lot a few weeks back so I won't be taking nothing for granted. It could go either way for me especially as both teams will be fooked from playing three times in a week.

I think the game should be on the Sunday for two reasons, we get an extra days rest and we've been getting through playing on it.

This will be our third home F.A. Cup game against Leicester in the last 50 years. We lost 1-2 at home in Round 3 in 1965-66 and again by 1-2 at home in Round 4 in 2000-01. So hopefully third time lucky! The game in 1965-66 was the last home F.A. Cup game that I missed; I've been to all 54 since (including Gravesend & Northfleet).

On the positive side, the last time we were drawn at home in each of Rounds 3, 4 and 5 - 1999-2000 against Darlington, Southampton and Leeds - we got to the final.

I hope it's on the Saturday, I can't remember the last time I had a smile on my face on Valentine's Night.

It's the perfect draw. We're at home to a club who still think the Premier League is a happy, shiny place and they'll not want the nasty FA Cup getting in  their way of staying in it. Plus there are at least three nailed-on TV games.

Good call. Surely nothing can go wrong...

I also thought it was the perfect draw. I'd rather have the bottom club in the Premier League than a lower division club.

I agree about the semis, but what a load of shite the rest is.

The FA Cup has just experienced one of its most memorable weekends in living memory, with Bradford City, Middlesbrough and Cambridge United all securing incredible results against the biggest teams in the country.

But if the 2015 FA Cup is to be remembered as one of the best ever, it needs the remaining heavyweights to put an end to the romance and ensure that the latter stages generate a Cup Final worthy of the competition.

Minnows are great in the early rounds, adding colour and surprise to a tournament that depends on upsets and new stories.

But if the FA Cup is to reclaim the end of season spotlight from the Premier League, it needs a Liverpool versus Manchester United showdown at Wembley or Arsenal defending their crown against West Ham.

The 2008 Cup Final between Portsmouth and Cardiff may be regarded as a classic on the south coast and in the Welsh capital but it was a turn-off for the rest of the country.

Perhaps staging the semi-finals at Wembley has taken the edge of the Cup Final with recent finalists such as Hull and Wigan having already experienced the stadium before playing in the final itself.

As a result, Cup Final day has become something of an afterthought, but a heavyweight clash at Wembley between two teams that have to win, rather than a game involving one just there to enjoy the day out, is what this season's competition needs.

Apologies to the all the romantics, but the cup deserves a final that will make the whole world sit and up take notice

Anyone know when the date and time will be confirmed? Not been able to make a game since Cardiff at home last season, really want to try to get to this one.

I would love a Villa vs Boro final (is that possible?) would be awesome, I have a couple of friends who are Boro, I would fly home and we could all go together. If thats the kind of heavyweights he is talking about I am all for it. Two big clubs (yes Boro is a big club) going to for at Wembley. Would be ace.

They know nothing.
Imperialist running dogs of the Telegraph owning capitalist lackeys David and Frederick Barclay.

Well, nothing about the FA Cup, that is, especially because this is our year!

Absolutely - Preston or Derby are quite big clubs too.

Villa vs Preston in the final would be fine. A nice heavyweight clash.

Pleased with this draw. Prefer Leicester to someone like Derby or Middlesbrough.
