It was potentially tricky tie and we made hard work of it but we're through. Need to win a league game or two now though. Great goal from Gil and it wont have hurt Weimann's confidence to get one either.

Positives - Delph new deal, Gil's brilliance, lovely second goal.

Negatives - We just about beat a Bournemouth side with 8 changes, they dominated the first half and Benteke was very poor.

It's a major relief to win, but we need to get a lot lot better.

Chuffed. No doubt the 5th round draw will bring Bradford City away...

Cleverley - one of his better days.  Seemed to have license to break forward more and did it well.  Bacuna didnt take his chance again.  Sanchez off form as well I think.

A win is a win.

Yep, potential banana skin avoided and two superb goals to lift the confidence.

They were much the better side in the first half but once Gil worked his magic we improved enormously.  The boost it gave us even extended to Andi putting away a tough chance.  Us being us we conceded and had squeaky bum time but only for about 30 seconds.

Get Westwood and Gabby out the team, we move the ball quicker, better, and have better movement off the ball.

Gil looks a player, and i thought Cleverley had a better game.Still need at least one better player/forward to play off CB, but a step in the right direction imho.

I thought Gil was excellent,  everyone else was merely excellent.  First half we struggled, but were excellent,  second half very excellent. Into the fifth round,  most excellent.
