Me too. Might be reading a bit much into it, but four and a half years is quite a lot, especially for a stunt designed to bring the club a little money from a sale - two years would have sufficed for that. It's probably wishful thinking, but I'm inclined to indulge it a little, considering that today has been a rare fun day to be a Villa fan.

Those words from Delph have given me a huge lift in the middle of such a terrible period for the club, it is so rare for a modern day player to talk like that, it feels like he is one of us.
