In case you can't make the game -

23 mins - Baker stretchered off - head injury
32 mins - Delph booked
HT - nobody wins the HT challenge
63 mins - first shot on target a Sanchez daisy cutter
69 mins -cleverly cheered off
90+1 min - "we want lambert out"

You forgot the red card.

You forgot the customary non-injury related substitution(s) which always happen in the 62nd minute (albeit he was 3 minutes early last week!) ;)

We have to re-think this...If we are doing the possession stuff we need to have more wing backs. I'd go for this line-up to see what happens and fuck it thanks to Lambert I don't care about the Cup. Winning league games is the only important thing right now. So...

                            Guzan

            Okore         Clark         Baker

Bacuna                                                  Cissokho

                             Sanchez

                 Gil                               Delph

                      Benteke        Weimann

Villa correspondent in the Evening Mail reckoned that Gil could start in front of a midfield three of Sanchez, Westwood and Delph.  I'll be disappointed if that is the case, as having Westwood and Sanchez in the same midfield isn't working, and we looked much better last week when Sanchez, Delph and Gil were in there.

                                 Guzan

Hutton            Okore              Clark           Cisshoko

                      Sanchez           Delph

Bacuna                          Gil                       Grealish

                                Benteke

We're blessed with one of the most lethal front men in the PL. Let's start trying to supply him with the ammunition he needs. Gabby can take the rest of the year off for me and hand the armband to Delph or Sanchez.

I don't think Guzan will play and despite Lambert's mumblings about taking the cup seriously this year, I reckon they'll be a couple of 'huh, what?' inclusions in the team.

Just bought my ticket for this game. Let's just say I had quite a lot of choice of where to sit.

He must play the best available team and stress upon them the importance of the FA cup. Anything else is NOT acceptable.

That would be my team too. Looks good on paper, what are the chances we will see it ?

Yep, I expect Guzan to be rested. Villa one of the best reserve keepers, so why not use him.

I like that team too.  Two defensive midfielders protecting the back four and three creative players behind a focal point up front. Why play three forward players when two of them aren't scoring?

He'll probably play 4 center midfielders again.
