If anyone needs a psychologist, it's Lambert. Someone who can help him to realise that it is possible to win a game and he doesn't have to be thinking about not losing a game.

Well Mike Phelan has left Norwich where he was first team coach. Maybe he's been offered another job.

I bloody hope not, don't want another ManUre cast off.

What's Ads up to these days? And would he be happy to take a subordinate position?

If Allback is good coach in Sweden. How about a Swedish dream team with Allback and Mellberg in management with Laursen as no 3 :)

The idea that he has said we don't need a forwards coach is very concerning!?

Look at the difference specific coaches make in specific roles - Sheringham at West Ham for starters. Marshall with our defence could be pointed out too.

He needs an assistant, and a revamp of the coaching set up for sure. He is too scared to do it though.

I think he's on a bonus if he keeps the payroll costs down with minimal back room staff.  :P

Could Ads be tempted back to the club?

Is that really the difference? Isn't it more likely to be the fact that they have far better strikers now than when they couldn't score?

If Sheringham had come in and started to get Carlton Cole and Modibo Maiga scoring bucketloads of goals then I'd agree he was working wonders.

Wonder if Phelan's just sulking because he expected to get the manager's job there when Adams left.

Either way, I'd take him here. Wouldn't see him as a Man Utd cast off as he was Fergie's chosen right hand man for years and only left when he did.

That was certainly what they were suggesting on TalkSport. Although they also suggested that he would now be inline to become Potato Head's assistant at Hull.
