Well what did we really expect? Another loss, another nil. Played OK at start of second half but generally it was shit and the goals for is a serious problem.

It is so obvious that Lambert isn't taking us anywhere other than down nor will he. Sack him already, please. Futile I know but it's got to be said.

Also I can't stand Liverpool. One plus of going down would be not playing those ******.

Going back to the four across the midfield today, you would have thought Bacuna on the right would have been a good idea. To be honest though, I don't think he wanted to drop any of them which is why he played them all.
Which in itself is another damning indictment of his managerial abilities.

Some points from today, firstly, Liverpool were nothing more than average. Today, more so the second half, we went away from the keep ball & went more direct. With a bit of luck we'd have scored. An all too familiar day of 'could have beens' which is slightly better than the past few weeks. But ultimately we lost & failed to score again. We really needed to score in that 20 mins whilst we were on top.

Gabby is not good enough. In fairness to Baker, it was his first game in a couple of months, but he really isn't good enough either.

Cleverley never really wanted to sign for us & it shows. He brings nothing to the team. Cheering his substitution really doesn't help anyone & was uncalled for.

Full backs don't have the quality needed when they get into attacking positions.

Delph & Benteke are simply playing for themselves, which means Delph might as well be sold now. Did Benteke win a header all day?

Gil looks really promising, movement, good touch & incisive passing. Also linked well with Weimann.

We are better a better team than the results show but Lamberts selections & tactics show he's not up to it.

You can post tactics, formations and team selections on here until the cows come home.
Regardless of what they are, just remember who is ACTUALLY doing it, and realise that what is put in here means absolutely jack shit.

He's still trying to use the fuels backs as width. It's an utterly shit tactic and he doesn't see it. He must think we have Carlos Alberto and Roberto Carlos and not Hutton and Cissokho back there. Dope. It improved once Gil came on because, apparently he is good at it. I have no doubt in the next game he'll go back to the same old shit and drop Gil to the bench.

Just watched MOTD, Benteke and Baker missed sitters to be fair. We looked very open at the back. Baker's complete lack of positional sense not good enough at this level.

Its just boring now. The football, the stats, the "he hasn't since scoring against Aston Villa", the "he hasn't but he has now against Aston Villa" and most of all, being the "better side" then getting dicked on.

A tiny defence of Lambert these past few weeks is that our players have failed when put into the few goal scoring opportunities that have arisen. That isn't the managers fault.
