Huff and puff but usual lack of quality against a top team.

Liverpool aren't even that great but just clincial finishing after soaking up a bit of pressure.

Lambert will get it big time if Bournmouth knock us out next week.

Delph was abysmal, looked like he'd already done a deal with Liverpool.

Gil was the bright spark, promising debut. About time we had a tricky clever player who can pick up and run from deep, playing one twos. Bit of the Robbie Keane about him. Worth a start at Arsenal.

He sets up the team and reacts post-match like some third division side hopelessly out-gunned in a cup game.

Please go away.

Now.

11 goals in 1,980 hours of football this season - the equivalent of 82.5 days for 11 goals.

This is exactly it.

He complains that fans have too high an expectation when in reality he has none.

2 wins in 18 and it's likely to rise to 20.  :'(

Someone earlier in the thread said they can't see where the next point is coming from, never mind point how about goal!

No protest, no goals, no points, no chance.

We may get to the trapdoor slowly but mark my words we will get there.

We play piss poor we loose and don't score
We play average we loose and don't score
We play ok in bits we loose and don't score

Lose.
Lose.
Lose.

The rest is correct.

Out of interest, how do get on with the word 'loose'? Do you double the correct number of 'o's or just add the extra one?

Someone needs to come in, be it a loan or transfer to replace Agbonlahor. He offers absolutely nothing as a threat in front of goal or a creative spark. I just watch Tekkers getting frustrated playing along side the waster. Sums the club up giving him a contract, needs a rocket up his arse not another pay day.

Cleverley is hopeless, always has been when playing in one of the top sides in the country, always will be. Everton must be bonkers is they want him.

Aly just seems to stand of his man and back off into the box.

Hutton for all the effort going forward needs to seriously stop floating the ball into the keepers arms.

Okore really needs to wake up and mark his man.

Sanchez played well for me and his mate Gil looks potentially the kind of player we have been crying out for. Not pinning all my hopes on him but he's different. Put out all the stops in getting Januzaj / Salah ( although unlikely ) and I think we'll just scrape through this season...just!

I think you mean 1,980 minutes. Otherwise no wonder we're shit if each game we play is lasting 90 hours, we must be knackered!

In his interview with Pat Murphy, who sounded like he felt sorry for the twit, Lambert had the cheek to mumble something about how much Liverpool's team was worth. The excuses will continue to come, make no bones about it.

You don't need to apologise Carles not your fault.

It's unusual to get any apology.
