A new manager could easy get this lot top 8.

No way. Top ten perhaps.

It really is depressing being a Villa fan.

The problem with this defeat is that we will have the worst of all worlds as a result.

We lose another game.
We play sufficiently averagely to present absolutely no threat to the manager being sacked.
He will say we were excellent, the press won't challenge it and on we go again.

It was a gutless team selection, and has been another poor defeat. Lambert has to go.

Well, one positive is that Gil looks quality. Although it's sobering to think that a kid from Spain worth a paltry 3 million appears to have superior technique to almost everyone else in our entire squad.

Almost 450 minutes without a league goal. It's almost harder to do that than score

The highlight of the last 8 hours of football has been a cheeky step-over from a diminutive Spaniard.

Will somebody fucking kidnap this manager?

Throw it to a villa player?  Oh and I thought you had an excellent game Alan.

We're going to start getting those stupid Torres-clock type things; how many days since Villa scored a goal.
