We've scored more than 1 once in almost 5 months now. We've scored 2 goals in a game 5 times in a calendar year, utterly shit.

Seriously though, BBC just said it's 2 wins in 17 league games. I didn't even realise that.

obvious relegation form

sunderland are probably the worse at the moment but at least they might have a goal scorer now

The two wins were consecutive as well weren't they?  A backs to a wall win at Palace followed by a 2-1 victory against a Leicester team in the middle of a run of three months without a win themselves.  Both sandwiched in between periods of 8 and 7 without a win, and in those two runs we managed 4 goals in 15 games combined.

That's assuming we don't turn this around before (chortle).

It's obvious that the players don't have the belief to win this game.

How good is Carlos Sanchez though?
I thought he looked our best player. Always assured, always finds a pass, breaks down their moves. Seems to have a clue.

Yes comfortably
Our midfielders and full backs are all doing pretty well at what they're good a
The problem is that none of them are good at creating or scoring goals

4 times in our last 34 matches, nearly a full season.

That registered a 7.4 on my shitometer.  Not quite as bad as the 9.4 from last week's first half.

Baker's beard was our best performer.

Only a 6.6 from the Russian Judge!

It's just really dull again with a slight shuffling of the chairs on the deck to make it look like he's trying something. Unless Gil is the next Messi he's going to look bollocks for us with the way we approach a game.

I'd agree with this. We probably shouldn't judge the players too harshly, because they're being asked to play in a system that's pathetically ineffectual. Cleverley, for example, would probably look perfectly decent if he had more passing options available.

Have any of the pundits been ridiculing Lambert for picking four central midfielders and no wide players?

no they think we are dull and shit because Lambert hasnt had no money to spend

I'm certain there won't be a single Villa player or member of staff right now who thinks Villa can win this game. We're like Davros on a fire escape.

There's no way the team or the club deserve that level of support.

One player in the box again.  But at least we are getting into wide areas within 30 yards of the byline.
