Groundhog Day performance and Lambert will still keep his job, just incredible. They will deserve everything they get at seasons end.

A couple of mates of mine were singing 'Lambert Out' just as the half time whistle went. Some chap clocked them and came up to us and tried to explain that it was all Paul Faulkner's fault. I tried to keep a straight face, he didn't have a clue what he was on about. I saw him again downstairs after the game standing on his own looking totally bewildered.

Nice to hear Randy is getting to the odd game again, though.

Missed it. Good game?

Good in the fact it could quite easily have been 6-0.

I don't know if i'd stretch to 6, but absolutely no doubt, if that had finished 4-0 we'd have had no grounds for complaint.

We were pathetic. Just pathetic.

Yes we did have lots of possession. (more than in August, September, October & November) yet the problem still remains. He is expecting very POOR fullbacks to provide width when they have their hands full defending.

It beggars belief that since Gray, Withe, Dublin, & Carew we get a 'proper' centre forward in Benteke yet he sticks to his narrow defensive belief.

Lambert got away with it at Norwich - coming through 2 divisions playing 'his' system he would no doubt have surprised each division with his style of football and the momentum he developed.

He has failed. There is no disgrace in failure if you accept what you are doing is wrong and take the right course of action.

Sadly the use of an outright winger is against his belief and his negative outlook.

There is only one other choice but to resign and lose a payout.

In his shoes what would you do? Take the abuse and relegation and hope you can promote us - or resign?

We still need 18 points and are running out of winnable games.

The scary thing is that as far as we're concerned, there are no winnable games.

Last three games - Palace and Sunderland at home, Leicester away.

if we are going to talk about games being "winnable", those have got to be three of them.

We've won none, taken two points, and not scored a single goal in those three games.

Pathetic.

Lambert will not walk away from £50k a week landing in his account. Would any of us ?
I'd probably sit in the dugout motionless with the iPod on and see how long I can get away with it.
What's the Saying ? While the cats away ?

What's worrying is that we're not creating chances. I honestly can't remember their keeper making a save today.

MOTD couldn't be bothered to show Benteke's disallowed goal then! Goes against Lineker's script. The tosser.

Well that looked like a battering in the highlights. Always liked Albrighton and in the highlights he looked pretty threatening, pointless him staying with us as Lambert doesn't play wingers but that is the service Benteke is crying out for.

Oh fully agree. If we don't change to a proper manager this week I think we are down .

Get out lambert now, right now - we will go down with that man. No excuses just get out and wash the place out with your stink. Burnley look like world beaters with worse players - nuff said.

Just watched the highlights on MOTD, I don't think I even caught a glimpse of Agbonlahor. We looked abysmal, unless of course it was biased editing.

Just leave now. You're a shot manager. Worse I have known down the villa and that includes McNeil, Venglos and Mcleish
