So how many shots, goals or points in the next three games? Is 5,0,0 optimistic?

Lambert out. Copy and paste for as long as it takes, while knocking head against a brick wall.

One attempt on target against a team in the relegation zone. This is by far the worst performance of them all, utter shit. As for life without Benteke, we're getting used to it before he's gone.

Watch our defence turn to muck in the next few games now too. No Clark against Liverpool. Half fit defenders to come back. Okore's lucky he has two legs after that challenge, and as we saw in that run against last seasons top 5, we're good at defending to a certain point, but good sides will muller us.

We're in a dangerous run of form. Not just scoring, but results to. Sack Lambert now or we could go down. Leicester thoroughly outplayed us. They've also spent 9 mill on a forward, so they're really pushing to stay up. Expect other sides to do the same. West Brom and Palace have new managers. QPR have Austin, and will probably add to their ranks too.

We look fucking appalling and even Benteke is looking increasingly ineffectual. The occasional exceptional goal isn't enough if he's not getting enough bread and butter goals.

Shambolic and our discipline is that of a side that has no control from its manager at all. It's pathetic. A shame with Clark today too, as he and Guzan were our best players.

If Lerner gave a shit, we'd be managerless before the night is over.

unlucky, decent possession and Leicester hit us on the break

Haha, you are Paul Lambert and I claim my 50p. That's exactly what he'll say!

Randy, get your bag packed, get in that private jet and get to Birmingham as fast as is physically possible, you've got work to do.

That was one of the worst performances I can remember. Truly horrific. If Leicester had won 5-0 we could have had no complaints. No positives whatsoever, we are a shambles.

Randy doesn't do hard work any more, not when it comes to the Villa. He doesn't have the heart, effort or drive for it. Just keep things ticking over for me Lambore and keep me updated with the weekly phone call.

If he uses the word excellent in his post-match conference i'm going to scream.

You'll probably hear my scream from where you are if he does that.

Clueless.  Absolutely clueless.

A few things about our 'new style'.  Firstly it's cowardly.  It was introduced as far as I am concerned almost as a two finger salute to people who have been criticising the team for having no possession.

Secondly it has been introduced without any plan.  The players have just been told to 'pass the ball'.  No more, no less.  No plan for how to translate that into chances and goals.

Thirdly, it was always a sham.  We have had a run of fixtures that have allowed us to stroke the ball around comfortably and not look threatened.  This has in turn allowed Lambert and the team to proclaim that they are 'keeping the ball well' and proclaim that we look comfortable and just need to translate that into goals of our own.  It was glaringly obvious that the players are just passing it aimlessly, there's not movement so very few options to pass to so when a team decided they didn't want us to have all the ball and play in front of them, they would press, our players would still have nobody to pass to and we would get harried into mistakes, conceding a bucket load of chances.  That happened today and it was the worst yet.

Not only 11 goals in more than half a season but 2 wins in the last 17 matches and yes 7 goals in the last 17 matches.

Sack him now, nobody could do worse than that.

According to Red Sox there was a fight in the dugout which I haven't seen mentioned on here.

that's the worst performance of the season by a long way, we were utterly pathetic.  The only positives were Guzan and Clark so it's no surprise that one of them got a shocker of a red card to miss the next 3 games.

Today was the day I've turned to Lambert out. Possibly the worst, uninspiring performance I've ever seen from a Villa team. We've got good players in there as well, we need change now.
