We only looked decent once in that half when we counter attacked by passing the ball. Sadly, Benteke was offside.

Apart from Sanchez, Clark and Jores, everbody else has been crap.

Maybe he will bring Baker on and go 3 at the back!

I'm wondering how long it will be before Lambert reverts to his standard long-ball tactics after this weird little 'passing' style aberration.
You know what, even that would be preferable to this sterile, toothless shite.

NEED to come out and attack, simply not good enough. We're desperately crying out for wingers today, so much space ahead of Cissokho but nobody's there.

On the positive side at least we can bring on some flair against bottom of the league Leicester with Jack Greali... oh.  Well how about that great young striker we recalled from loan who looked promising, we can bring him off the bench, what was his name, Robinso... oh.

Can't wait for a second half with Andy fucking Weimann coming on after 60 minutes.

Well I thought the lads were excellent. Can't fault them for their effort - they all worked really hard, and with so many attacking players on the field we're bound to score. Second half we go again.

Joe Cole showed some nice touches but that's about the only positive

A wastrel chairman, a useless manager and a pointless captain.
Where is the fucking leadership at this club?

It looks like Lambert can't motivate the team tbh. I think the reason he hasn't been sacked yet is because in the main his signings have been cheap and cheeful and the more expensive ones have worked out well.

That half chance which fell to Cole summed him up perfectly. You'd expect most players to put their foot through the ball and leather it, but he didn't because it's quite clear he doesn't want to put too much pressure on his ever failing pins. He's absolutely done at this level. It's a shame. He's exactly the sort of player we need, it's just 5 years too late.

He really really has to go.  Now.  Get one of the physios to do the half time team talk.
