After today and saturdays inevitable exit from the FA Cup any other manger would be out of a job. I don't know who is more clueless the manager or the owner. I'm baffled.........

I'll give you a 1000000000000/1 we don't don't knocked out the FA Cup on Saturday.

Gotta be worth a quid :) Never before have I wanted the team I love to lose games just so we can get this dipshit out of a job, however I dont trust the idiot above him with replacing him. Confusing times at VP.

If it wasn't for the match thread on here, I wouldn't be sat at the computer. Something about shared pain I guess

I didn't watch any of the first half, but if you looked at the stats, 74% and 7/2 shots makes us look good.

that's all I'd seen until I logged on here. more proof that Villa are crap when they have too much of the ball.

they should give up on this passing the ball around at the back, just hoof the ball upfield and then pick the opposition off on the break.

are villa still persisting with Brad throwing/kicking the ball to the full backs standing on the goal line ?

Just shows how stats can mislead when they're a comparison of two crap teams and anyway Lambert doesn't believe in them.

Commentators obeservations.

"Agbonhalor and Weimann need to offer more"

how many times do we say this

drop them to the bench , give someone else a go , but the manager always starts with these two .
and they are not good enough at this moment

Please Lambert - Cleverley off and Grealish on. That's the only way we'll show any attacking threat and actually win this game. Sorry, what was that Lambert, we only want a point from this game? Oh right, silly me. I thought we were trying to win it.

If he takes it, can I have half please?

you'll just lose, we can't possibly go out of the cup on saturday, sunday is another matter though.

Well that's a good start. Every link I use for our game is showing West Ham.

How on earth does anyone keep turning up to watch this shit? I have to be honest, I am at the point of stopping caring about it all as the last 4 years have been too depressing to contemplate.

If something doesn't change quickly I think the club is in danger of being damaged irreparably. I can genuinely see crowds of less than 20k becoming the norm next year - who is honestly going to keep forking out to watch us fail to create anything week after week?

This thread is far more entertaining than the actual game.

we have the slowest midfield in the world, and the most static forwards. It is called the shittest combination ever in terms of creating chances. We may as well be renamed Aston Villa Crabs FC.

I'm reliably informed that Tim Sherwood is at Villa Park today.  I wish it wasn't just a coincidence.
