Even with the power and expressiveness of the English language, I find it hard to express just how eye-bleedingly shit that was.
One word, Lambert.

That was fkin Lambert.

Collymore's had a fine old rant about this garbage just now on Talksport.

"It's dross, absolute dross."

Just eavesdropped on the half time team talk.

'Who has nay been sent off this season?  Right Andreas, your turn son, I need you to get yourself sent off early.  I can't say youse were excellent otherwise.'

Awful stuff. The front 3 are offering nothing ,with the system with 3 in the middle the front 3 need to get wide and create but they don't there is no options wide other than the full backs.

We are keeping the ball by taking the safe pass every single time.

I know it isn't going to happen, but I would just love him to get sacked, just show the fans we should be better than this.

After today and saturdays inevitable exit from the FA Cup any other manger would be out of a job. I don't know who is more clueless the manager or the owner. I'm baffled.........

Has Gabby done anything this half? Has he run ran at all with the ball at his feet?

I would give many things in this world for Lambert to be booted out of Villa Park.

The football is appalling. This Sanchez to Cleverley, back to Sanchez monotony. Sometimes out to Hutton who cuts inside. And does nothing. Benteke is being starved. Cissohko never seems to ever put in a decent cross. It's abysmal to watch. Bacuna can't seem to find a man with his passes. Weimann is having another shocking season.

It really is both shocking and predictable to watch. What is Sanchez supposed to do with the ball, there is no movement whatsoever. Just as a variation, try to get some crosses in. How are we suppposed to score playing like this ? One goal from midfield all season and yet he persist with "the goals will come", "there has been good goalkeeping", blah blah blah

Afternoon, gents.

Missed the first half as I was traveling down to Porto and just checked in. I gather is was business as usual. Well I hope you all enjoy the second half, we're generally not complete shit for 90 minutes so you could be in for 45 minutes of wild entertainment.

Me? I'm off to drink some Port and enjoy the sunshine. I've done more than my fair share of suffering, I more than deserve a break from Lambert's Villa.

Indeed, it is absolutely pitiful. We can question West Brom's choice or Palace's choice, but at least they're trying something and not accepting woeful displays.
