Shame king Carlos isn't still with them. Looks, dare I say it, winnable.

Looks winnable, but also looks quite easily loseable.

Hardly an inspiring lineup, and undoubtedly the same sort of inventionless 3 man midfield that is par for the course in our 4-3-2-1 formation.
Zogbia shouldn't be playing and Cleverley seems to be one of these players, much like Westwood, who can do no wrong in Lamberts eyes.

I'd have played Grealish and Bacuna for them to be honest.

Saying that, their side is shit on paper. Johnson has been poor for them so hopefully we don't duly oblige him the run of Villa park.

Interesting that Delph seems to be playing on the right in the last couple of games. I'd rather see him swap sides with TC really. It's always too obvious that he wants to get back on his left peg.

Good possession, but they keep losing patience and blasting it from miles out. A bit more intelligent movement into the box is all we need, because we're holding on to it comfortably in good areas.

The optimistic in me thinks we're just that one decent attacking midfielder away. Someone who can at least have us touching cloth.
The mid 3 are tidy but none of our supporting players for Benteke really create much.
