We need another man in midfield. They're dominating us there and the defence has nobody to pass to half the time.

Just punt the bloody ball out! We're taking this playing out the back thing too far. Particularly on a rainy day with players who can't trap a bag of cement.
There's never a middle ground with Lambert.

While trying to play it at the back, the fact that we aren't really used to doing it is starting to show. There is a lot of uncertainty back there and you get the impression that the defenders would love to just whack it long and get rid. As tough as this might be they are being told to stick with it, but in all likelihood the short term affect might cause us some problems.

The only threat we have is Tekkers. Nothing from Agbonlahor or the midfield

I have no problem with us playing it out of defence, but I'd much rather we could play it out of midfield.

Poor first half. Cissokho and Gabby off for N'Zog and Bacuna

Why do the Sky commentators talk down everything Villa does and talk up the team they're playing it's the same every game especially when it's Francis.

Benteke cuts a frustrated figure.

Our midfield are blind to a run

HT. We look poor creating real chances, and uncertain at the back. I can see what we are trying to do and we have to stick with it. The growth process is painful at times and we don't really have the players for it. There is a real void behind Benteke which needs to have a midfielder or two that can attack that space.
