I wish Gabby would push further forward and one of the midfielders would play closer to him and Benteke.

I'm guessing it's Lambert's tactics. Maybe he sees Gabby as our Number 10.

We are getting tidier at passing the ball around, but still don't seem to have any idea about how to work the ball forward.

Blues losing 2-0. Slightly cheered me up. Come on Villa! Bit more adventure, please!

Swansea have given us lots of room to pass in the non critical two thirds of the pitch. They have closed us down really well in the final third, and not having a creative influence isn't helping either.

Nice move by Cleverley there, should have done better

Jesus Christ, pass forward for once....Benteke is in front of his man, making diagonal runs on numerous occasions and no one looks up.

At least we don't treat the ball like it's a hand grenade with the pin missing anymore.

Small steps.

You could be right, yes. I hope that's not what Lambert is doing though. I'd prefer to see Grealish given a chance, even Andi

Passing from the back is OK if it was quicker, we're too slow and predictable

Sanchez is a good player, he impresses me more every time I see him. Perfect in front of the back line.
