Don't think Monk rested them.  He said he wasn't satisfied with the previous performance and dropped a few to let them know their place in the team wasn't guaranteed.  Seemed to work as well.
I wonder if another manager ever thinks that way?

Need to hear that Gabby's red card has been rescinded today, don't we? An away draw. Guzan-Okore, Vlaar, Clark-Hutton, Sanchez, Cleverley, Delph, Cissokho-Gabby or Andi, Benteke.

Like the look of that team Paul.  Gabby or Weimann is a tricky choice, but I would be inclined to go with Gabby's extra pace against their backline.  2-1 win for us.
