I can't remember. I was probably too busy crying into my lap to see what happened next.

Got a feeling this will be a frustrating draw, just don't have confidence in us winning back-to-back games atm. Could see it being 2-2 with us blowing a 2 goal lead by switching off thinking it's game over.

Looks like a very low attendance expected again, and poor from Leicester that they can't shift 3k tickets for a game an hour away in their first season back in the prem.

We'll do these. They are not much cop. Routine 2-0 home win a la Cardiff last season. Benteke and Cleverley.

I think so. As unconvincing as we are I still see us winning reasonably comfortably, without necessarily really going at them. If we did show attacking intent and had a go, I think this is a rare game we could dish out a tonking, like Norwich last season. We're too happy to sit back on a goal though.

Hopefully we will win, and the next two, which will leave us all happier.

Two matches are as clear to me now as they were many years ago.  beating Charlton 11-1 and Leicester 8-3 with Gordon Banks no less in goal.

Happy care free days.
Don't remember the game Steve, but I saw all of those players play for us and Bobby Thomson, Harry Burrows and John Sleeuwenhoek were a few of my first Villa heroes. I came to appreciate Alan Deakin, Vic Crowe and Nigel Sims a bit later. I was 7. Happy and carefree indeed...only whooping cough, diphtheria and scabies to worry about!

8-0 Villa.  The beast running rampant with 5 and Clark, N'Zogbia & Sanchez with the other 3.  I really need to stop sniffing the printer toner!

Is Leeg going ?

If not, maybe this game has Sunderland potential

I'm thinking 32+, we're in relatively good form, Benteke's back, and I'd expect Leicester to fill out the away end.

Can't he go and nurse PWS, catch the bug and stay away for a few more games?

I was at the Charlton game (with my Dad) and I think Gerry Hitchens scored five. He certainly got four! Never see us get in double figures again Im afraid.

Leicester struggling for form with a striker in need of goals come to Villa Park. Too may parallels between Ulloa and Akinbeye for me. I am very, very wary of this crowd.

We're under-achieving but they're properly shite.  2-0 us; Benteke with both.

1 win in 10 .... do we class that as good form for us these days?
