A win today is going to be bittersweet. We desperately need it, but at the same time it's going to buy Lambert a 10 year deal knowing Randy.
Fucking hell.

I'm listening to this online via Radio London - it's hilarious. I have no idea how any Villa player is doing at all, it is as if there is only one team on the pitch.  For the goal they said 'a mistake there by the Palace defence, that wasn't good, and Palace are 1-0 down'. They don't even have an effects mic near the Villa fans, unless there are none of us there, as when the goal went in there was silence.  It's like listening to the commentary of an England international on 5live. They are now telling me what Guzan did wrong while being fouled by a Palace player. From where I am listening, we don't exist - it is the most relaxing listen I have had for a long time, as I have no idea what is going on for us.

Evening Richie, evening everybody.

Matt Murray on Sky, 'Villa have got to be careful, they are sitting so deep and inviting pressure, they look like conceding'

They probably recorded that piece before the season started and just replay it every week.

Imagine how long it would be until we won if he signed for 10 years

Some of these players just shouldn't look so hopeless.

Lambert playing Weimann virtually as a midfielder is working wonders

I see one of those 1950s black and white photos on a greetings card. A man aged about 40, with glasses. 'Once Paul discovered hitting his thumb with the hammer, he found himself unable ever to stop repeating it.'

If the Chairman refuses to sack him, maybe the men in white coats will simply end up having to carry him away.
