CB scored one like that before , robbing a defender on the left wing .

a goal out of nothing , just what we need.

I think Sanchez will become a key player for us when he settles.

Like the look of him.

He's far from the only one.

We have some decent players. Not world beaters, but decent, solid players. Lambert just fails to get the best out of them with anything approaching regularity.

No way have we had 67% possession. Not a chance. They've battered us. Great goal by Benteke, but Wiemann and Gabby are anonymous. Cleverley needs to be playing in the middle not on the left.

Full backs need some protection, Cissokho looks like a rabbit in the headlights.

Benteke joins our ever growing list of goal scorers

How many teams can boast they have doubled the number of goalscorers in the space of just over one game (over a third of the way into the season) - we are true class!

He's probably out there digging a fucking trench on the edge of our area.

Same shit as usual - Westwood/Cleverley/Sanchez are good enough at keeping the ball for themselves in midfield, but they have no options to make easy forward passes to, so they have to keep trying the Hollywood stuff which none of them are good enough at. Only difference is that Benteke has the ability to provide moments of individual quality

Agreed, but not sure how much movement up front

Yes, it's the same old problem - we don't have final third midfield players who can move and accept the ball in a congested area. Swansea generally field five of them

we had cole but he only lasted eight minutes

the absolute no doubt priority signing for xmas. there's just no question

Benteke's goal

Listening on the radio so thanks for that.  Really sweetly taken.

We've had 30% of the 'territory', as they put it. So we've had lots of the ball, but we've been trundling it around in our own half.

One Second half goal in the last 20 matches. Lets hope we will finally play to score a second goal instead of just sitting back and hope for the best.

Brilliant goal from Benteke.
